The course is intended for anyone with an undergraduate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Pharmacy and related areas. 

PPGQUIM also frequently offers positions for foreign candidates through the International Cooperation Group of Brazilian Universities (GCUB). The Program aims to contribute to the development of high academic level students from the five continents, as well as promote university internationalization and strengthening international cooperation between Brazilian universities and institutions of other countries.

For enrollment, in the case of a degree obtained outside of Brazil, the candidate must provide copies of the diploma and academic transcript, duly apostilled if issued by a country that is a signatory to the Hague Convention, or authenticated by the competent consular authority in the case of a non-signatory country.
